Tim Hobart is the co-founder and CEO of Satori Advisory, a Noosa Heads based advisory firm that integrates tax, business, wealth and lending into one strategy for business owners, pre-retirees and retirees.
Tim has been providing financial advice since 2003. He is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP), holds a Graduate Diploma of Financial Planning and a Bachelor of Commerce, and advises under Satori Advisory Pty Ltd (AFSL 378656).
His work sits at the overlap: the point where entity structures, cashflow, investment portfolios, debt and tax decisions meet each other. Most clients arrive with each of those handled in isolation by a different professional, and no one managing the connections between them. Tim models scenarios across the full financial position so decisions are made with complete information, then converts the strategy into a sequenced roadmap the client can implement over time.
He has written a weekly note to Satori clients since September 2019, now past 200 editions, covering markets, tax legislation, superannuation, lending and the behavioural side of money. Much of the writing published on this site began there.
Areas of focus: wealth creation and retirement strategy, tax planning and structuring, SMSF, lending and debt strategy, business owner advice.
Tim works with clients from Noosa and the Sunshine Coast and across Australia. He can be reached at [email protected]
